The Ohio Medical Board has been called upon to investigate the "surgical" happenings at Ohio State Medical Center after it was disclosed by Dr. Richard E. Schlanger's that a "Special Substance" is being used in abdominal surgeries there! There are also questions surrounding his claims that the surgeons are also using a "Powdered Form of Seprafilm" which has been validated by Genzyme company to not exist!

Unfortunately there has been NO response from Ohio State Medical Center
or Dr. Schlanger regarding these claims, and there is no email address for Dr. Schlanger to be contacted through, interesting!

IHRT will keep you posted as the Ohio State Medical Board steps in to investigate the following claims made by Dr. Schlanger as to the goings on in surgery there:
Use of a "Special substance," Use of a "Powdered Form of Seprafilm" and "Semi- Controlled Clinical Trials" all being done behind the doors of surgery rooms at Ohio State Medical Center!
Remember, this is NOT IHRT making these claims, it is the Chief of Surgery there making these claims, and none of these issues appear to have a sanctioned basis by the FDA, Genzyme Company, no scientific abstracts available, no notification to patients that they are involved in a study group, nothing!
There is nothing more dangerous to an ARD patient, to any surgical patient, than "secret" happenings once your under the knife! IHRT will not give up securing answers to our questions regarding Schlangers claims here.....it IS a matter of life or death, or at least possible permanent suffering!
