Posted Wednesday, March 21, 2007 @ 03:07 AM Last Monday evening I got a call from Japan to congratulate me on the election to the Board of the International Society for Gynecologic Endoscopy (ISGE) for a term of 4 years again.
I personally was not able to attend the meeting of the ISGE, but am very honoured to function for another 4 years to this society, especially in teaching and training endoscopy in developing countries, where laparoscopy is more needed.

He wanted to go.
He begged and literally cried for the money to attend the conference.
Someone actually sent the money to Osaka for his registration fee but it came in late.
The money did not come from Germany either!

This left the congress organizers to scramble to change printed material and schedules..
They thought he would be there but on Monday Ihrt got a call.....
He was a no show! Pure and simple.
Using Frank as an excuse to his loyal followers perhaps....Frank is headed to another hospital without computers LOL.
You insulted your Japanese hosts by not having the courtesy to inform them you would not attend.
Who ever sent you the congress fees must be quite peeved with you.
With an 8 hour time difference between Germany and Japan.....your saying someone called you in the wee hours Japanese time just to say you had beed elected.......get yer lies straight man!
You have brought shame once again to the ISGE.
Just like Croatia! Where you sported a black eye for your rudeness.
After this giant blow off insult to all, you really think someone would drop a nickle to phone you?
As to being reelected to the board.........I doubt it.
The other doctors in Europe ( pick two) are far superior to you in ability and ethics.
If so it seems the new leadership of the ISGE has pledged to bring more members and integrity
to the society.
That means your out like the trash.
Ihrt even had people in Osaka to specifically meet with you.....they were very disappointed.
